This is probably the best Pie & Mash that I have experienced. All made and baked on the premises. Portions are large so go there hungry!!! It's cash ONLY for info. Highly recommended. Sit inside or a couple of tables outside. Chilli vinegar is awesome too.
Excellent pie mash and liquor, probably the best I’ve had. Liquor was VERY well seasoned, pies were crusty top and bottom, mash smooth. They do things slightly differently - mash with ice cream scoops and served in a bowl. Also no eels and no puddings - which means they laser in on this dish! Terrific strong cup of tea too, better than what I can make myself.
Can’t go wrong here. Proper old school pie and mash. Prices have gone up a bit but the quality remains excellent. Only one in the area for the original Londoners.
Superb!!! Pie was banging, mash was spot on, liquor was delicious! Ruth & Ben were so welcoming, proper spot and well worth the drive from Maidenhead!!
Authentic restaurant with great and simple food! Feels like in a movie! Cash only, across the corner there is a Post office ATM.
